Things to think about before your visit

Generally

STARTING TIME

  • Your guide will meet you outside "Lillhuset", the small cottage at the entrance of Äventyrsbanan. We kindly ask you to respect the starting time by being prepared and ready to start on time.

Clothes

  • Sturdy clothes and comfortable shoes. We also recommend the use of gloves, although it's not mandatory. A pair of thin working gloves will be fine and they can be bought on site for 35 SEK.
  • We work in (almost) all weathers so be prepared with rain gear or warm clothes in bad/cold weather.
  • For those who need to change, we have a smaller storage room with two booths for changing.
  • It is possible to store bags and other belongings, as well as lockers if you want to lock up valuables.
  • We provide the equipment you need.

TOILET/SHOWER

  • Toilets are located on the backside of "Lillhuset" at Äventyrsbanan's entrance. There are no showers though.

FOOD AND BARBECUE

Make food outdoors with chef
For groups bigger than 10 people you can order catering. We cooperate with Glöd Vildmarksskök.

Foodtruck
Friday-Sunday 11am-4 pm Glöd has a footruck open, check instagram för avvikande öppettider. Köp vilda korvar med mos, varm choklad, kaffe, kakor mm.

Fires
If you want to prepare food yourself, you can be by one of our fireplaces. We provide firewood, grates, lighting materials.

If you are a larger group or want to reserve the camp for yourself, the forest camp is available for rent.

WATER

  • Please bring something to drink, we do not have running water.

OTHER

  • Photographs that may be taken during your activities may be used for our marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, just let us know.

Safety rules High rope courses

  • You must undergo a safety briefing with one of our guides to participate in the high rope course.
  • Take your personal health into consideration. If you have any temporary or permanent health issues or if you are pregnant you have to make the decision yourself if you are able to participate.
  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly forbidden, which goes for both participants as well as specators, before and during your activity.
  • You must not smoke or be near fire when wearing the safety equipment.
  • Put up long hair and remove large jewelry that can get caught in things, and empty pockets of loose objects before entering the course. If you wear glasses, be careful with them.
  • When you are finished and back on the ground, please put the equipment back where you took it.
  • If you deliberately destroy, lose or act recklessly with the equipment you will be forced to pay for its replacement.
  • If you don’t follow our safety guidelines the guide can prohibit you from entering the high ropes courses.

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT LIMITS

  • Sanda: Participants over 140 cm can do the course independently. Shorter people (lower limit 110 cm/7 years) can do the course accompanied by an adult.
  • Mellanberg, Högmora, Snörom and Fast Ziplinan: 150 cm/15 years. Maximum weight 115 kg. Children from the age of 13 can go in the company of an adult.
  • Vreta:: 150 cm/15 år. Children from 13 years in the company of an adult. Maximum weight 100 kg, minimum weight 40 kg.
  • Långa Ziplinan: 140 cm/40 kg. Maximum weight 100 kg. Participants from 15 years kan go by themselves. Participants from 13 years, who meet the required weight and height, have to be accompanied by an adult.

Overnight stay and sauna

  • It takes about 15 minutes to go out to Sjölägret and the sauna from Äventyrsbanan. The walk goes on a hilly forest path and over rocks along Sandasjön.
  • Feel free to pack in a backpack to make the hike easier.
  • Bring warm clothes, you will be outdoors at all times.
  • We recommend that you bring a torch or headlamp for the walk back to the parking if it gets dark before you leave.
  • Leave the place as clean and nice as possible, as nice as when you arrived.
  • Lock the sauna and toilet before you leave and put the key in its designated place.
  • There is a firepalce and fire wood for you to use for when you have booked the sauna.

A cleaning fee of 1 000 SEK per hour will be charged if you have failed to complete your cleaning duties. If anything is destroyed willfully you will be charged for its replacement,.

Parking

The small parking outside our entrance fits a MAXIMUM OF 18 CARS.If this parking is full you have to use the large parking 200 meters to the west along Ältavägen, towards Sickla. The parking s signposted with "P Äventyrsbana". We are not responsible for wrongly parked cars nor for valuables left in cars.
